Praying for Sunday Services
Matthews 11:28-30 – Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
1. Pray for everyone feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or burdened by life’s stresses, anxieties or struggles to accept the invitation to come and give Jesus all their burdens.
2. Pray that members will take a new yoke, the yoke that symbolizes the teachings or the way of life Jesus offers.
3. Pray for the church to have a renewed heart that the Holy Spirit dwells in.
4. Pray that the teachings on Sunday will make the church to fan into flame their gifts, to start taking action when they have received the messages. 2 Timothy 1:6-7
5. Pray for the church to earnestly pursue love and eagerly desire the spiritual gifts. 1 Corinthians 14:1
6. Pray that God will give the Pastor power and authority to deliver the word, to cast out all demons and to heal all diseases. Matthews 28:18. Pray for the Worship team, protocol team and the elder who will lead prayers, for transformation and renewal of their minds to discern God’s will as they lead.
