Praying for Malawi and People Groups of Cameroon
Praying for Malawi
“You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.” Psalm 65:9–11
“For there shall be a sowing of peace. The vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, and the heavens shall give their dew. And I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.” Zechariah 8:12
1. Thank God for the peace that continues to prevail in Malawi despite many economic, social, and spiritual challenges. Thank God for the rains and the hope of harvest from the agricultural investments across the nation. Pray that the declaration and designation of Malawi as a God-fearing nation will continue to stand firm amidst every attack and snare of the kingdom of darkness.
2. Pray that the Church in Malawi will stand firm, remain prayerful, and overcome every intention of the kingdom of darkness. Pray that God will raise up God-fearing men, women and youth to take positions of power and authority — from the village and grassroots levels to the legislature, judiciary, executive, and media — so that righteousness may prevail in every sector.
3. Pray for wisdom, creativity, and innovation among the citizens of Malawi that will contribute to meaningful socio-economic development. Pray for a spirit of hard work and diligence, and that the Lord will bless the work of the hands of Malawians. Pray that Malawi will move out of poverty as national leaders enact and implement policies that reward honesty, integrity, and hard work.
4. Pray for God’s intervention concerning abductions, crime, and the negative issues affecting the judiciary and other sectors that have recently dominated the news and social media. Pray against fear and hopelessness, and ask for restoration of peace and hope reflecting Psalm 65:9-11 and Zechariah 8:12. Pray against corruption, partiality, oppression of the weak, and all dishonest gain, and that justice and righteousness will prevail throughout the nation.
Praying for People groups of Cameroon
And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest. Luke 10:2

1. Pray that the Lord of the harvest will raise up and send Spirit-filled, obedient workers to these people groups, especially those with low Christian presence. Ask God to bring revival to His Church, cleansing and empowering believers to go with boldness and compassion to proclaim the Gospel among all peoples.
2. Pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon these people groups, bringing conviction of sin, revelation of truth, and a deep hunger for righteousness. Ask God to reveal Jesus clearly through dreams, visions, and faithful Gospel witness, drawing many to salvation in Christ alone.
3. Pray for powerful and biblical demonstrations of God’s power — healing, deliverance, and miracles — that confirm the truth of the Gospel and break spiritual strongholds. Ask that fear, deception, and false beliefs will give way to the light of Christ, leading entire families and communities to turn to Him.
4. Pray for lasting fruit through strong discipleship and church planting movements among these people groups. Ask that new believers will grow in Christ, be rooted in Scripture, and become faithful witnesses to their own people, until every tribe and nation stands before the throne of God in worship.
