Praying for Malawi and unreached people groups

a) Praying for Malawi : “

Proverbs 11:14: “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.”

2 Chronicles 7:14: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face… then I will hear from heaven and heal their land.”

1. Thank God for Malawi thank Him for preserving our nation in peace and making Malawi a testimony to other nations that the Lord is truly with us through every season.

2. Pray for our leaders that God will grant them wisdom, understanding, and divine guidance as they address the ongoing fuel and forex crisis. Ask the Lord to give them practical solutions, integrity, and strategies that will stabilize the economy and bring relief to the nation.

3. Pray for God’s provision and mercy upon Malawi during this difficult season. Ask the Lord to open doors for economic recovery, availability of fuel, stability of foreign exchange, and restoration of businesses and livelihoods across the country.

4. Pray against corruption, selfish interests, and confusion in leadership. Ask God to raise leaders who will govern with justice, compassion, accountability, and a genuine desire to serve the people faithfully.

5. Pray for the Church in Malawi that believers will remain focused on soul winning, holiness, and the preaching of the gospel rather than material gain or worldly recognition. Ask God to revive the Church with a passion for prayer, unity, evangelism, and the saving

b) Praying for Unreached people groups

Isaiah 60:1: “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”

Romans 10:13–14: “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed?”

2 Corinthians 4:6: “For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts.

• Thank God for the growth of Christianity among groups such as the Gbaya, Geme, and Kabba-Laka peoples. Pray for spiritual maturity, revival, and deeper commitment to Christ among believers and churches across the nation.

• Pray for the Gobu, Kaba Dunjo, Sara, and Kabba peoples, where many still follow ethnic religions. Ask God to break spiritual strongholds and reveal Himself through dreams, miracles, and the preaching of the gospel.

• Pray for the Gula, Kara and Hausa peoples, who are predominantly Muslim and have very limited Christian witness. Ask the Lord to open hearts to the gospel and raise missionaries, evangelists, and faithful believers to reach them with the love of Christ.

• Pray for unity, peace, and spiritual awakening in the Central African Republic. Ask God to strengthen pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers, and pray that every tribe and people group will come to know and worship Jesus Christ.
