Praying for Malawi and Praying for the unreached people groups
Psalm 37:19: In times of disaster they will not wither; in days of famine they will enjoy plenty. Proverbs 11:14: For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers, Joel 2:24: The threshing floors will be filled with grain; the vats will overflow with new wine and oil
1. Pray for divine intervention as inflation rises and forex shortages affect small businesses and households. Ask God to grant wisdom to economic decision-makers and provision for struggling families.
2. As political parties begin primary elections in the communities and explore partnerships to align for the upcoming campaigns, pray for guidance, peace and transparency. Ask God to raise up leaders of integrity who will serve the people with humility and justice.
3. Thank God for the harvest and pray for a bumper yield where crops are still maturing. Pray for wisdom and proper storage practices to avoid loss, and protection from exploitation by opportunistic buyers.
b) Praying for the unreached people groups:
Colossians 2:6-7: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”.
Ephesians 4:12-13: To equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.”
Romans 10:14-15, How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’”
Isaiah 49:6 “It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”
Central Africa: Cameroon
• Pray for spiritual maturity and discipleship among the Cung, Cuvok, Denya, Djanti, and other groups where Christianity has taken root. Ask God to deepen their faith and raise strong local leaders to shepherd the growing churches.
• Lift up the unreached and under-reached groups such as the Daba, Dek, and Dghwede. Pray for open hearts, bold witnesses, and strategic outreach—especially in Muslim-dominated areas.
• Intercede for the Deaf community in Cameroon, that they would have access to the gospel in forms they can understand. Pray for ministries that specialize in sign language Bible translation, Deaf-friendly churches, and inclusive discipleship.
• Ask God to protect and strengthen language and Bible translation efforts, especially among smaller groups like the Tibea-speaking Djanti and the Dek people. Pray for effective communication of God's Word in every heart language.
