Praying for Malawi

Jeremiah 30:17 – For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the LORD.

• Praise God for the prevailing peace in Malawi, for the rains received, and for lives preserved during the Christmas festive season despite the many tragic accidents that have occurred. We thank the Lord for His mercy, protection, and sustaining hand over the nation.
• Pray for God’s comfort for families who have lost loved ones through accidents, chronic sickness, and sudden deaths. Ask the Lord to heal those who are injured, traumatized, or in need of medical attention, and to grant peace, strength, and hope to all who are grieving.
• Pray for good, timely, and sustained rains across the country for successful agricultural production. Ask God to bless farmers, protect crops, and grant a fruitful harvest that will ensure food security for the nation.
• Pray for wisdom for Malawi’s leadership to make sound decisions that will grow the economy and bring relief from ongoing economic challenges. Ask God to guide policy review, development and implementation; promotion of integrity, and opening doors for stability, employment, and national prosperity.

Praying for People Groups of Algeria

Luke10:2 And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.

Hebrews 3:15 As it is said, “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

• Pray that God may send bold and compassionate labourers among these Islamic people groups to preach to them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pray that the people will not harden their hearts when they hear the Gospel.
• Pray for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon these people groups, bringing deep conviction of sin, hunger for truth, and openness to the message of salvation through Jesus.
• Pray that God will reveal Jesus through clear, biblical dreams, visions, and supernatural encounters, accompanied by signs and wonders such as healing, deliverance, and miracles that confirm the truth of the Gospel.
• Pray that the Lord will raise Church Planting Movements among these people groups, and that new believers will be biblically discipled to grow strong and faithful in Christ.
