Nehemiah 9:7-8

7 “You are the LORD God, who chose Abram and brought him out of Ur of the Chaldeans and named him Abraham. 8 You found his heart faithful to you, and you made a covenant with him to give to his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites and Girgashites. You have kept your promise because you are righteous.

Psalm 103:8-10

8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious; slow to anger, abounding in love. 9 He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities.

Lamentations 3:22-23

22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. 23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

Thanksgiving and Praise

1. Thank God for His mercy that endures forever and is new every morning.

2. Thank God for His faithfulness. Remember His faithfulness to you.

Prayer

1. Mercy shown in creation. Thank God, that everything created was created by Him and for Him. Pray against an entitlement mentality in ICA members but that instead we will have a sense of gratitude for the mercy God has given us.

2. Mercy shown in choice of imperfect people. Thank God, for all the identities and destinies He has changed at ICA because of His mercy. Pray that we will be quick to understand how much mercy overcomes imperfections.

3. Mercy in our deliverance. Pray for all ICA members who might be going through affliction and pain; that God will make a way for them. Pray that they will be encouraged that God sees what others ignore.

4. Mercy in our worst failures. Pray that all ICA members will seek real transformation and that there will be no one settling for rebellion.

5. His mercy endures. Pray for all ICA members who might be feeling abandoned that they have the courage to cry out to God for mercy.
