Praying for Malawi

Psalm 145:16 (ESV) - You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing.

Psalm 68:19 (AMP) - Blessed be the Lord, who bears our burden day by day, The God who is our salvation.

Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV) - For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

1. Thank God for His open hands over Malawi, satisfying the inhabitants desires.

2. Thank God for the crops in the field, some have started to be harvested, for we had prayed for rains and good harvest.

3. Pray for provisions and safety of displaced people due to floods. Our God bears our burdens daily.

4. God has good plans for Malawi and Malawians. Pray for the manifest of positive progress in Malawi and for Malawians (economic growth, good roads, ability to feed ourselves, etc).

5. Rebuke every devourer of Malawi and Malawians positive progress (corruption, nepotism, etc).

Praying for African People Groups of Congo, DRC – West and Central Africa

Proverbs 4:18 (ESV) - But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.

Romans 8:37 (AMP) - Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].

1 Timothy 6:12 (ESV) - Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1. Thank God for the spread of the Gospel in today’s people groups.

2. Pray for Christ-followers in these people groups to shine brighter and brighter as they win more souls unto the Lord.

3. Pray against backsliding among the born-again Christians in these people groups. Pray that they will not be conquered by evil forces.

4. Pray that the Christians in these people groups will press on fighting the good fight for their faith in Jesus Christ, who is their Saviour.
